When my husband and I decided to homeschool our oldest son, we had no idea what we were doing or what we were in for! Now that we have been doing this since 2009, we have learned a lot! Three more children into this lifestyle and more broken pencils, lost pen caps and notebooks later, here we are. We appreciate an eclectic approach to homeschool and have tried a little of almost every style, because like most things in life- learning doesn’t come in “one size fits all”! As we’ve been on this journey, we have learned right along with our kids-some of it having nothing to do with formal lessons but more so about ourselves. The term “Homeschool” is a bit of a misnomer for us- perhaps “Family School” would be a better fit. Welcome to a snapshot of our lives!
